Best unlocked cell phones
Researched by Deal.ai's shopping agent across stores on November 2, 2026. Prices below are today's.
Top pick: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra — the most complete unlocked Android here: a big, sharp 3120 x 1440 screen, the highest rating of the flagships, and it's sold unlocked with no carrier strings. If you want one phone to keep for years, this is it.
Who the others suit:
- iPhone 17 — the easy pick if you're in Apple's world; reviewers praise performance and camera, and it's the best value of the current iPhones.
- Google Pixel 10 Pro — the camera-first choice, with all-day battery in a smaller 6.3-inch body.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max — for big-screen video and photos, at the top of the range.
- OnePlus 15 — a large 6.78-inch screen and fast charging for heavy users.
- Samsung Galaxy S24 / S23 — still excellent, more compact, and the sensible way to spend less.
- Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) — if you want a folding flip phone.
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 — a phone that opens into a small tablet.
- BLU K2 / OSCAL FLAT 3C — basic unlocked Androids for a backup or a first phone.
Check the band support for your carrier before buying any of them.
