Best unlocked smartphones for T-Mobile network MVNOs

Top pick: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra — a current flagship that's fully unlocked and covers T-Mobile's low-band and mid-band 5G, so it gets the best coverage and speeds on Mint, Metro, Tello and similar MVNOs. It also has the longest software support of anything here.

Who the others suit:

• Galaxy S24 Ultra — the same big-screen, S Pen experience for less; still a strong MVNO phone.
• Google Pixel 10 Pro — best for camera and clean Android with fast updates.
• OnePlus 15 — for fast charging and a big 165Hz screen.
• Galaxy A16 5G — a cheap, simple everyday phone for a light user.
• iPhone 17 Pro Max — if you'd rather stay in Apple's ecosystem.

Check the listing's band list before buying: some budget models here don't state T-Mobile band support.
