Best vintage dresser knobs

Start with the Aged Brass 12-pack — the most convincing "old house" look for the money, with mounting hardware included and enough pieces to do a whole dresser at once. Antique brass reads vintage without looking costumey.

Who the others suit:

• SENY Floral knobs — if you want a decorative, slightly glamorous floral face; the highest-rated set here.
• Antique Brass Flower knob (6-pack) — a softer, cottage-flower look in solid iron.
• Zernmiarder ceramic pumpkin knobs — for a painted, farmhouse-cottage dresser; buy a few packs to cover every drawer.
• Schaub & Company round knob — traditional and understated, best if you're matching existing hardware.
• Alivon antique brass 8-pack — the simplest way to refresh a small dresser on a whim.

Check the screw length and knob projection against your drawer fronts before ordering a full set.
