Questions and answers
- Does Dayton Audio run sales?
- Dayton Audio drivers are sold mainly through Parts Express, which runs periodic sales and clearance events rather than a standing Dayton-brand sale. There are no live deals on this page right now.
- Where is Dayton Audio cheapest?
- Parts Express is the primary US seller and usually the reference price. Check its clearance and open-box sections, since those are where Dayton drivers most often drop below list.
- What are Dayton Audio's best-known products?
- The brand is best known for budget subwoofer drivers like the Reference and Signature Series, plus the Dayton Audio DATS woofer tester and measurement gear. The Signature Series DVC subs are aimed at DIY builds that want dual-coil wiring flexibility.
- What is the difference between the SS8-22 and SS15-22?
- The SS8-22 is an 8-inch driver and the SS15-22 is a 15-inch driver, both with dual 2-ohm coils. The larger driver moves more air and suits bigger enclosures; the 8-inch fits smaller boxes and lower output targets.
- What is the return policy on Dayton Audio drivers?
- Returns go through the retailer, typically Parts Express, which sets its own return window and conditions for drivers. Confirm the policy with the seller before ordering, especially for installed or modified drivers.
