Questions and answers
- When does Fluval go on sale?
- Fluval discounts cluster around Black Friday, Cyber Monday and spring aquarium sales at large pet retailers. Filter media multi-packs and starter kits are the items most often cut. There are no live deals on this page right now.
- Where is Fluval cheapest?
- Large online pet retailers and Amazon usually undercut local fish stores on media and conditioner, especially in bulk sizes. Compare the price per ounce or per 100 ml, since pack sizes vary widely. No prices are listed here.
- What are Fluval's best-known products?
- The 07 and 06 series canister filters and the AquaClear hang-on filters are its most widely used lines. Aqua Plus conditioner, Clearmax and carbon inserts are the common consumables for those filters.
- What does Fluval Aqua Plus do?
- It is a water conditioner that removes chlorine and chloramine and binds heavy metals from tap water before it goes in the tank. It also claims to support the slime coat. Dose by volume, and shake before use.
- What is Fluval's return policy?
- Returns are handled by the store you bought from, not by Fluval, so the window and terms depend on the retailer. Keep the receipt and the original packaging. Opened filter media and water treatments are often excluded.
