Questions and answers
- When does Gskyer run sales?
- Gskyer discounts show up mostly around Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday and back-to-school season. Outside those windows, prices on the 70 Explore and 80mm refractors tend to hold steady.
- Where is Gskyer cheapest?
- Amazon is usually the cheapest place to buy Gskyer, since the brand sells there directly and bundles accessories. Check the price history on each product page before buying to see if the current price is above or below its usual level.
- Which Gskyer telescope is best for a beginner?
- The 70 Explore and the 80mm refractor with the dual-speed slow motion mount are the easiest starting points. The 130EQ Pro reflector gathers more light for planets and deep-sky objects, but it needs collimation and is heavier to move.
- What is the difference between the 70mm and 80mm Gskyer refractors?
- The 80mm aperture collects about 30% more light than the 70mm, so clusters and the moon show more detail. The 80mm models also come with the dual-speed slow motion mount, which makes fine tracking easier at high magnification.
- What is Gskyer's return policy?
- Returns go through the retailer, not Gskyer directly. On Amazon, most Gskyer telescopes fall under the standard 30-day return window, so keep the original box and packing.
