- When does ZWO run sales?
- ZWO discounts cluster around Black Friday and major astronomy retail promotions, and its US dealers often run their own sales at different times. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is above or below past sale levels.
- Where is the Seestar S50 cheapest?
- The lowest price moves between ZWO's own store and authorized dealers like Agena Astro, High Point Scientific and B&H. This page compares every store's price for the S50, so check the store column before buying.
- What can the Seestar S50 actually do?
- It images and stacks galaxies, nebulae and clusters on its own, and also works as a smart telescope for the Moon, Sun (with its solar filter) and planets. It has a 50mm f/5 APO lens, a 1920x1080 IMX462 sensor, an internal battery, 64GB of storage and Wi-Fi control from a phone or tablet.
- What are the Seestar S50's main trade-offs?
- Its small 50mm aperture limits detail on faint, small targets, and the alt-az mount means field rotation that the software corrects by cropping frames. It is not a visual telescope in the traditional sense: you view images on a screen, not through an eyepiece.
- What is ZWO's return policy?
- Returns go through the store you bought from, not ZWO directly, so terms differ by dealer. ZWO's own store and most authorized dealers accept returns within a limited window on unopened or defective items; confirm the specific store's policy before ordering.
- Are there ZWO discount codes?
- Deal.ai doesn't list ZWO discount codes. It checks what ZWO products actually cost at every store, so a real markdown shows on this page as a deal as soon as it starts, and each product's page has its price history to tell a sale from its usual price.
