1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan vs 1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan Rookie PSA NM-MT 8
Both listings are the same card: a 1986-87 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan rookie, SGC-graded Authentic, at $5,500.00 at eBay as of November 3, 2026. Neither is a numeric-grade card, so the grade does not separate them. Buy whichever listing shows the better centering and cleaner corners in its photos, since Authentic means the card is genuine but not assigned a condition number. If you want a graded 8 or better, keep looking; these two are not it.

Questions and answers
- Which is the better buy between these two?
- They are the same card at the same $5,500.00 price as of November 3, 2026. Pick the one whose photos show better centering and corners, and confirm the slab label on the second listing, since its title and specs disagree.
- Is an SGC Authentic card worth $5,500.00?
- Authentic means the card is genuine but has no numeric condition grade, so it usually sells below graded examples. Compare sold prices for SGC Authentic copies of #57 before you pay.
- Is the PSA NM-MT 8 listing really a PSA 8?
- The title says PSA NM-MT 8, but the specs list SGC and grade A. Ask the seller for a photo of the slab label before buying.
- Will these cards hold value?
- The 1986-87 Fleer Jordan rookie is one of the most collected basketball cards, and high-grade copies have held value well. Authentic-grade copies are more sensitive to condition and market timing.
- What should I check when the card arrives?
- Check the slab for cracks, confirm the certification number on the grader's lookup, and compare centering to the listing photos. Report any mismatch to eBay within the return window.
