Which is better for a first Jordan rookie?

B, at $5,500 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, costs far less and is a genuine 1986 Fleer #57. A only makes sense if you specifically want a PSA number and confirm the slab matches the listing.

Is the PSA card worth the extra money?

Only if the slab truly shows the grade claimed. The listing says PSA 8 (OC) in the name, PSA 9 in the specs and BGS 6 in the description, so verify before paying $8,960 at Amazon.

Which holds value better?

PSA-graded Jordan rookies are the most liquid and easiest to comp. SGC Authentic copies sell at a clear discount because buyers assume trimming or alteration.

What does Authentic mean on the SGC card?

SGC judged the card genuine but did not assign a numeric grade, often because of trimming, recoloring or other alteration. Treat it as a display copy, not an investment-grade card.

What does (OC) mean on the PSA card?

Off-center. PSA qualifiers flag a flaw while keeping the numeric grade, and buyers typically pay less for a qualified card than a straight-graded one.

Do both ship authenticated?

Yes. Both listings route through eBay Authenticity Guarantee, where the card is checked and sealed with a hologram sticker before delivery.
