    Questions and answers

Which set is better for a small apartment?
The folding set, if you need to put the table away between meals. It folds and rolls on six wheels. The Seizeen is the better pick if the table stays out and you just want chairs that tuck under it.
    Which has more comfortable chairs?
The Seizeen. Its chairs are 32.5 in high with upholstered 17.7 in wide seats. The folding set's chairs are 14.6 in high with 10.6 in wide unpadded seats.
    Can either set seat six?
Only the folding set, and only with the drop leaf up. The Seizeen is fixed at four seats.
Is the Seizeen worth the extra money?
Yes if you sit down for regular family meals. You get full-height upholstered chairs, a 330 lb load rating and a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 240 ratings. The folding set wins on space and price instead.
    Which lasts longer?
Neither maker gives a written warranty, so there is no rated lifespan. The Seizeen lists solid wood frames and a 330 lb load limit; the folding set lists no load rating, and its folding hinges and wheels are extra parts that can wear.
