Which is better for a long walkway?

The DenicMic 10-pack. Ten lights cover roughly 60% more path than six, and each costs about half as much.

Is the DenicMic worth the extra over the ExcMark?

It is cheaper, not extra: $23.99 versus $27.99 as of November 3, 2026, and you get four more lights. The ExcMark's advantage is its stated IP65 rating.

Both use NiMH batteries. DenicMic lists about one year of battery life; ExcMark does not state a figure, so plan on replacing AAA NiMH cells in either after a year or two.

Can I dim either light?

Only the DenicMic, which adjusts from 12 to 40 lumens. The ExcMark runs at a fixed output.

Which is better in heavy rain?

The ExcMark carries an IP65 rating, which means protection against jets of water. DenicMic only says "waterproof" without a grade, so the ExcMark claim is easier to verify.

Do they give the same light color?

Both are warm white. DenicMic states 3200 K; ExcMark does not publish a Kelvin value.
