Apple iPhone 16e vs iPhone 16e
Both listings are the same phone, the Apple iPhone 16e, so the choice comes down to condition and carrier lock. The Walmart listing is a new unlocked 128 GB unit at $374.56 as of November 4, 2026, and the Gazelle listing is a certified pre-owned T-Mobile model with no price given. Buy the new unlocked one unless a used T-Mobile unit is clearly cheaper and you stay on T-Mobile.

Questions and answers
- Is the iPhone 16e worth it over a used iPhone 15?
- The 16e has the A18 chip and 8 GB RAM for Apple Intelligence, which the iPhone 15 lacks. It also gets up to 26 hours of video playback. Buy the 16e if you want Apple Intelligence to last several years.
- Does the iPhone 16e have an ultrawide camera?
- No. It has one 48MP Fusion rear camera and a 12MP front camera. There is no 0.5x ultrawide, which is the most common complaint in reviews.
- How long does the iPhone 16e battery last?
- Apple rates it at up to 26 hours of video playback from a 4005 mAh battery. It supports wireless charging but not MagSafe at full speed.
- Is the pre-owned T-Mobile iPhone 16e a good deal?
- Only if it costs clearly less than $374.56, the new unlocked price at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. You give up the Apple warranty and carrier freedom, and the battery is used.
- Can I use the T-Mobile iPhone 16e on another carrier?
- It is listed as SIM unlocked, but the seller says carrier compatibility is not guaranteed. Check the IMEI with your carrier before buying.
- Does the iPhone 16e support Apple Intelligence?
- Yes. The A18 chip and 8 GB RAM meet Apple's requirements, and it ships with iOS 18.
