What reviewers say
Apple iPhone 16e
With 3.9 out of 5 from about 1,800 ratings, owners call the 16e affordable and easy to set up, with battery life that lasts all day and smooth performance. The main complaint is the missing 0.5x ultrawide zoom.
- Battery lasts all day or longer
- Clear camera quality
- Smooth, fast performance
- Simple setup for new users
- No 0.5x zoom
- Only one rear camera
iPhone 16e 256GB Black

- Long battery life
Questions and answers
- Is the 256GB worth it over the 128GB?
- Only if you shoot a lot of video or keep large games and photo libraries. Both run the same A18 chip and have the same screen and battery, so storage is the only real gain.
- Which lasts longer?
- Both have a 4005 mAh battery rated for up to 26 hours of video playback, so battery life is the same. The new unit in Product A starts with no wear, while Product B reports 100% battery health but is a used device.
- Does either have a telephoto or ultrawide lens?
- No. Both use a single 48MP main camera plus a 12MP front camera. There is no 0.5x ultrawide, which reviewers of the 16e note as a miss.
- Is the iPhone 16e good for gaming?
- Yes. The A18 chip and 8GB RAM run current iOS games well. The 60Hz screen is the limit, since it will not show 120Hz frames.
- Can I use a physical SIM?
- The US A3212 model is eSIM only. The Singapore A3409 version sold by some stores takes one physical SIM plus an eSIM.
- Which is better for a first iPhone?
- Product A, because it is new and cheaper at $374.56 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Setup is the same on both.
