Both listings show the same $779.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, but they describe different machines. Product B is listed as the 24GB/512GB Mac mini M6, which is the better buy at that price because it doubles memory and storage. Questions and answers
- Which is better for video editing?
- Product B. 512GB storage and 24GB memory give more room for footage and timeline caches. Both use the same M6 chip, so render speed is close until memory runs short.
- Is 16GB enough for everyday use?
- Yes for browsing, office apps and light photo work. It gets tight with many browser tabs, virtual machines or local AI models, where the 24GB model is safer.
- Is the 24GB/512GB worth the extra?
- At the same $779.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, yes. Apple charges a significant premium for memory and storage upgrades at order time, so the larger configuration is the better value if that price holds.
- Do both support three monitors?
- Yes. Both list support for up to three external displays over Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI.
- Which has better connectivity?
- They are effectively equal. Both offer Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Product A's listing spells out 2.5Gb Ethernet and front USB-C ports.
- Can I upgrade memory or storage later?
- No. The M6 Mac mini uses unified memory and soldered storage, so choose the configuration you need at purchase.
