Which is better for GPS yardages?

The Bushnell Wingman View. It gives audible and on-screen front, center and back distances plus up to six hazard distances per hole. The Ampcaddy has no GPS at all.

Which has the longer battery?

The Ampcaddy, at up to 20 hours versus up to 10 hours for the Wingman View. Ten hours is about two rounds, so the Bushnell still covers a normal day of golf.

Is the Wingman View worth the extra?

There is no real price gap: $80.00 at eBay versus $79.99 at AMPcaddy as of November 5, 2026. The Wingman View adds GPS, a screen and a remote for the same money, so it is the better value if you want distances.

Does the Wingman View need a subscription?

Some buyers report that a software update moved features behind a subscription. Check the current app terms before you buy if subscription-free use matters to you.

Can the Ampcaddy tell me the distance to the green?

No. It is a Bluetooth speaker with a mount only. Pair it with a rangefinder or a phone GPS app for yardages.

Which is more durable on a wet course?

The Wingman View is rated IPX6 and buyers report it surviving being submerged. Ampcaddy does not state a water-resistance rating, so treat it as splash-prone.
