Questions and answers
- Which is better for a bedroom?
- The Levoit Classic 100. Its humidistat and timer let it run unattended overnight, and its 2.4 L tank lasts longer between refills.
- Which is better for a small room?
- Both cover small rooms. The Vicks is rated for 250 sq ft and takes less space, while the Levoit covers 107–290 sq ft.
- Is the Levoit worth the extra $15?
- Yes if you want a humidistat and timer. If you just need mist in a small room, the Vicks does that for $9.97.
- Do either need replacement filters?
- No. Both are filter free, so you only buy water and, for the Vicks, optional VapoPads.
- Which lasts longer on one fill?
- The Vicks is rated up to 24 hours on its 1.9 L tank. The Levoit's 2.4 L tank is larger, but its run time is not stated.
