Which is better for a heavier user?

The Vaunn. It states a 350 lb capacity, while the Drive listing gives no figure. Confirm the capacity on the box, since one Vaunn listing line says 450 lb.

Is the Drive worth buying over the Vaunn?

Yes if you want padded arms and the lower price. At $23.00 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it costs about $16 less than the Vaunn at $39.39 at Amazon.

Which has a removable back?

Only the Vaunn. Its back support comes off, which helps for storage or for use without a backrest. The Drive back is fixed.

The Drive Medical Premium has padded arms. The Vaunn Deluxe Spa has no arms listed.

Which is easier to adjust?

Both adjust without tools. The Drive lists tool-free height adjustment; the Vaunn lists adjustable legs and tool-free assembly.

Are they the same weight?

Yes. Both are listed at 8.5 lb, so neither is easier to lift.
