Which is better for a 2-year-old?

The carriage. Pull-along play suits a toddler who is just walking, and it is lighter and smaller. The palace is better once your child sits and pretends with figures.

Which has more figures?

The carriage. It includes Belle and Rapunzel and seats up to 10 Little People figures. The palace includes Elsa and Olaf only.

Is the Ice Palace worth the extra at $34?

Only if your child is set on Frozen. At $19.99 it is the better buy of the two; at $34 it costs more than the carriage and adds lights and music but fewer figures.

Do both need batteries?

Yes. The palace uses 3 AA batteries, which are included. The carriage is battery operated but the count is not stated, so check the box.

Which is easier to store?

The carriage. It is about 6.3 inches long assembled and weighs 1.22 kg. The palace is 24 inches long and 4.65 lbs.

Do both need assembly?

Yes, both list assembly as required. The palace is the bigger build given its size.
