Choose the Gericco if you want the most seating room per dollar, a 750 lb weight capacity and washable cushion covers.

Pros
  • 89 inches long with a 29-inch seat depth, so three adults sit without crowding.
750 lb weight capacity on a steel frame.
  • Cushion covers come off and wash.
  • About $110 cheaper than the GAOMON.
    • Cons
    • Beige fabric shows stains and dirt more than a darker color would.
    • Fixed armrests.
    • No tufting; the look is plain and boxy.
    • Back height is only 16.8 inches, so tall sitters get little upper-back support.

    Questions and answers

Which is better for a family room with three daily sitters?
The Gericco. It is 4 inches longer, has a 29-inch seat depth and a 750 lb weight rating, so three adults fit with room to spare.
Is the GAOMON worth the extra $110?
Only if you want chenille and adjustable armrests. The Gericco gives you more length, a published weight limit and washable covers for less.
Which is easier to keep clean?
The Gericco, because its cushion covers are removable and washable. The GAOMON's off-white chenille is spot-clean only in practice.
    Which lasts longer?
Neither maker publishes a warranty here. The Gericco at least states a steel frame and a 750 lb capacity, which is the firmer durability claim of the two.
Will the Gericco fit my living room?
It is 89.37 inches wide, 35.43 inches deep and 33.07 inches tall. Measure the wall and doorway first; it is a large piece.
