Which is better for allergy sufferers?

The Buffy Cloud. Its recycled PET fill is hypoallergenic, while the Puredown uses goose feather and down, which can trigger down allergies.

The Buffy Cloud is listed as winter weight. The Puredown is rated all-season, medium warmth, so it suits more of the year for most sleepers.

Is the Puredown worth the savings?

At $94.37 at The Home Depot as of November 6, 2026, it is the cheaper option and gives real down loft. The Buffy has no listed price here, so check it before deciding whether the hypoallergenic fill is worth the difference.

Which holds its loft better?

The Puredown's baffle box construction keeps fill evenly distributed. The Buffy uses a stitched pattern that locks fill in place but can compress along seams.

Do both fit a duvet cover?

Yes. The Puredown has corner taps and the Buffy has corner loops, so both anchor to duvet cover ties.

Which sizes are available?

The Puredown comes in Twin, Full/Queen and King. The Buffy comes in Twin/Twin XL and Full/Queen only, with no King listed.
