Is this comforter warm enough for winter?

It is rated all-season medium warmth. It suits most bedrooms year-round, but cold sleepers may want a heavier comforter in winter.

Can I machine wash it?

Yes. Puredown lists it as machine washable. Use a large front-loading machine and dry it thoroughly on low with dryer balls to restore loft.

Does it work with a duvet cover?

Yes. It has corner taps to anchor it inside a duvet cover, which also protects the cotton shell between washes.

Is it good for people with down allergies?

No. It contains goose feather and down, so it is not suitable for anyone with a down allergy.

How does it compare with a high-down comforter?

It has only 10% down and 90% feather, so it is flatter and heavier than comforters with a high down percentage. It costs far less.

The best new price seen is $94.37 at The Home Depot as of November 6, 2026. Only two stores list it new, so compare both before buying.
