Are these the same iPad?

Yes. Both are the 11-inch iPad Pro with the M5 chip, 12GB of RAM, a 2420x1668 Ultra Retina XDR display, 5G, and Wi-Fi 7. The only real difference is storage and price, and A's storage is unclear.

Which has more storage?

B is 256GB for certain. A's title says 512GB but its spec sheet says 256GB, so treat it as 256GB until the seller confirms otherwise.

Is the cheaper one worth it?

Yes. B is $1,099.00 at Apple Education Store versus $1,139.00 for A at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, and the hardware is otherwise the same.

Which is better for drawing and note-taking?

Either one. Both support Apple Pencil Pro and have the same 120Hz ProMotion screen, so pick on price and storage, not on drawing performance.

Do I need the cellular model?

Only if you work away from Wi-Fi. Both listed units are 5G cellular and need a data plan; a Wi-Fi-only iPad Pro costs less if you don't.

How low have prices gone?

B has ranged from $1,099.00 to $1,345.99 since November 7, 2026, so $1,099.00 is the bottom of that range. Check the price history before paying more.

Apple iPad Pro 11 (M5) vs Apple iPad Pro M5 11-inch

These are the same tablet: an 11-inch iPad Pro with the M5 chip, 256GB, 5G, and 12GB of RAM. Product B is the clearer listing, with the standard glass, Wi-Fi 7, and iPadOS 26 spelled out. Product A's title says 512GB, but its specs say 256GB, so confirm the storage before you pay. On November 8, 2026, B is $1,099.00 at Apple Education Store and A is $1,139.00 at Amazon. Buy B unless A's listing turns out to be a true 512GB unit at that price.

Today the Apple iPad Pro M5 11-inch costs $40.00 less at its best price.
