Questions and answers
- Which is better for painting and drawing?
- The KidKraft. It has a paper roll, a drying rack and sealable paint cups, while the Costway is a plain table and chair set.
- Which one includes chairs?
- Only the Costway. It ships as a three-piece set with two wooden chairs. The KidKraft table has no seating.
- Is the KidKraft worth the extra money?
- Its lowest daily price was $92.05 on November 1, 2026, with no chairs. Add the cost of two kid chairs before comparing it with the Costway's live price.
- Which lasts longer?
- The KidKraft uses solid wood and plastic; the Costway tabletop is MDF, which is more prone to swelling if wet. Wipe both dry after messy play.
- Which fits a small room?
- The Costway set is the tighter option, but check the table dimensions before buying. The KidKraft is about 50 in wide and needs extra floor space for chairs.
- What age is each for?
- KidKraft recommends 3+ years. Costway does not list an age, so check the listing or the box before buying for a toddler.
