Is the Costway art table worth it?

It is a reasonable value if you want a table and two chairs together for a young child. The MDF top is the weak point, so plan to use a mat or paper for messy projects.

How big is the table and who fits the chairs?

The chairs are listed at 23.5 inches wide, which is a child-sized seat. Check the full table dimensions before buying, since the set is meant for young children rather than teens.

Does it come with chairs and tools?

Yes. The set includes the table and two chairs, and assembly tools are provided. You will still need to put it together yourself.

Can the MDF top handle paint and water?

Bare MDF absorbs moisture and can swell at the edges. Wipe spills quickly and cover the top with paper or a mat for painting and water play.

When is the best time to buy it?

Watch for back-to-school and holiday sales, when kids' furniture is often discounted. Compare the price across stores before buying.

Our take on the Costway Kids Art Table & Chairs Set Wooden Drawing Desk

The Costway Kids Art Table & Chairs Set is a three-piece wooden set: one drawing desk and two chairs, sized for young children. The tabletop is MDF, the frame and chairs are wood, and assembly is required with tools included. It suits a playroom or bedroom art corner where a dedicated drawing surface is wanted.
