Questions and answers
- Which is better for a family room?
- The Mahoney. It seats three plus a chaise, and the sleeper version adds a full memory foam bed for guests. The Judarn is a single curved bench seat.
- Is the Judarn worth the extra money?
- Only if the look matters more than seating. You pay about $1,348 more than the Mahoney for velvet and a sculptural shape, and you lose the chaise and sleeper.
- Which fits a small living room?
- The Judarn. At 82.5" W x 34" D it needs far less floor than the Mahoney's 105" x 90" footprint.
- Which lasts longer?
- The Mahoney publishes a corner-blocked wood and metal frame, which is a durability signal. Anthropologie does not publish the Judarn's frame construction, so it is harder to judge.
- Does either one sleep a guest?
- The Mahoney does, in its sleeper versions, with a full memory foam mattress. The Judarn is a sofa only.
- Which has removable covers?
- The Mahoney lists removable cushions. The Judarn's plush seat cushion is described as fixed in its sculpted seat.
