Is the Quest 3S worth it over the Quest 3?

Yes if budget is the priority. You get the same chip and mixed reality, but weaker lenses, a narrower field of view and one quarter of the storage.

Which has better picture quality?

The Quest 3. Its pancake lenses and 2064 x 2208 per eye resolution beat the 3S Fresnel lenses and 1832 x 1920 per eye.

Do both work with a PC?

Yes. Both support Meta Quest Link over cable and Air Link over Wi-Fi, and the 3S listing names Wi-Fi 6E.

Is 128GB enough on the 3S?

For a few big games plus streaming, yes. Large titles run several GB each, and there is no expansion slot, so heavy buyers should take the 512GB Quest 3.

Both use the same XR2 Gen 2 chip, so software support should track closely. The Quest 3's 512GB storage ages better as game sizes grow.

Is the $20.99 Quest 3S price real?

That is the lowest daily price recorded on 2026-10-30 for a new sealed unit, which is far under normal retail. Confirm the seller and condition before ordering.
