Milwaukee M18 FUEL 5-Tool Combo Kit vs Milwaukee M18 6-Tool Combo Kit 2696-26

Buy the 3697-25 if you want the best tools Milwaukee makes. Its five tools are all FUEL brushless, with more torque, longer run time and a 5-year tool warranty. The 2696-26 adds a sixth tool, an angle grinder, but its tools are brushed and older designs, so each one is weaker and less efficient. Owners rate the FUEL kit highly; the 2696-26 is a budget-minded way into the M18 platform.

• Choose the 3697-25 FUEL kit if you drill, drive and cut daily and want maximum power, brushless motors and the longest tool warranty.
• Choose the 2696-26 if you need an angle grinder in the kit and want six tools to cover more jobs from one box.
