Which is better for a living room with high ceilings?

The National Tree Company Dunhill Fir. Its full fir shape and 46-inch spread fill a tall indoor space and hold ornaments. The VEIKOUS cone is a light display and has no branches to hang decorations on.

Which is better for a front yard?

The VEIKOUS. It is rated for outdoor use, has a weather-proof cord and ground stakes, and its 1,183 LEDs are already wired in. The National Tree Company tree is for indoor use.

Is the National Tree Company tree worth the extra money?

Only if you want a realistic, reusable tree you decorate yourself. At $559.99 versus $139.00 as of November 6, 2026, you pay for branch density, a 5-year warranty and a traditional look, not for lights.

The National Tree Company tree has a 5-year limited warranty and replaceable light strands since it comes unlit. The VEIKOUS has no stated warranty, and a failed LED section is harder to fix.

Do I need to buy lights for the National Tree Company tree?

Yes. It ships unlit, so budget for strands sized for a 12-foot tree. The VEIKOUS arrives with 1,183 LEDs and a star topper already connected.

How long does setup take?

The VEIKOUS goes up in minutes: attach the star, connect the poles, fasten the base, stake it and plug in. The National Tree Company tree needs its hinged branches fluffed out, then lights added, which takes much longer.
