For most shoppers, yes. You get 153 more lights, multicolor modes, a remote, a timer and a lit star topper for about four dollars more.

Which has more lights?

The VEIKOUS, with 1,183 LEDs against 1,030 on the Goplus.

Can I change the light color on the Goplus?

No. It is warm white only. The VEIKOUS switches between multicolor, pure white and a fade between them.

Do either come with a timer?

The VEIKOUS has a built-in 6-hours-on, 18-hours-off cycle. No timer is listed for the Goplus.

Which is easier to store?
