Is the Switch 2 BEE-001 the same console as the Switch 2 256GB?

Yes. BEE-001 is Nintendo's model code for the standard Switch 2, so the hardware, screen, storage and dock are the same. The difference is the listing, price and what is in the box.

Which is cheaper right now?

The BEE-001 at $479.99 at PayMore Matawan as of November 3, 2026, against $495.00 at Walmart for the 256GB Console bundle. That is about $15 apart.

Which should I buy if I want a sealed box?

The 256GB Console bundle. The BEE-001 listing says the seal was opened to confirm contents, which matters if you plan to gift it or resell it later.

Does either one include Mario Kart World?

Both listings list Mario Kart World as included. Confirm it is a download code or a physical card before you buy.

How long does the battery last?

Nintendo rates the Switch 2 at roughly 2 to 6.5 hours depending on the game, with about 3 hours to charge. Both listings are the same hardware, so battery life is identical.

Is the extra $15 for the Walmart bundle worth it?

It buys a sealed box and 11 stores to choose from, which helps with returns. If price is the priority and you are fine with an opened seal, the BEE-001 saves money and adds a grip and HDMI cable.
