Which is better for playing disc games?

The Disc Edition. It has a 4K Blu-ray drive, so it plays new, used and borrowed PS5 discs. The Digital Edition cannot play any disc.

Is the Digital Edition worth the extra saving?

At $470.00 versus $482.99, the saving is about $13. That does not cover one new game, and you give up the disc drive, 1TB storage and Black Ops 6. The Disc Edition is the better deal at these prices.

Do both run games at the same performance?

Yes. Both use the same 8-core Zen 2 CPU, RDNA 2 GPU, 16GB GDDR6 RAM and support 4K at up to 120 FPS. The difference is storage, the disc drive and the bundled game.

Which has more storage?

The Disc Edition bundle has a 1TB SSD. The Digital Edition has 825GB. Both can be expanded with an M.2 NVMe SSD.

Both should last a similar time since the internals are the same. The Disc Edition has a moving disc drive, which is one more part that can wear out, but it also lets you buy cheap used games for years.

Can I play Black Ops 6 on the Digital Edition?

Yes, but you would buy it digitally. The bundle includes the game on disc, and the Digital Edition cannot read that disc.
