Shark EveryMess vs Shark Rotator Pet Upright Vacuum

Questions and answers

Which is better for pet hair on carpets?
The Rotator Pet upright. Its self-cleaning brushroll and 10-inch width are built for whole-room carpet cleaning, and Shark claims 4X pet hair pickup for the EveryMess only with its best accessory.
Which handles pet accidents and wet spills?
The EveryMess. It is a wet/dry vacuum with a stain spray and odor neutralizer. The Rotator Pet is dry only.
Is the Rotator Pet worth $100 more?
If you clean whole floors regularly, yes. The wider path, longer cord and hose, and sealed HEPA system save time. If you mainly spot clean, the EveryMess covers more mess types for less.
Which is easier to carry and store?
The EveryMess. It weighs 14 lb and is a compact canister. The Rotator Pet stands 45.2 inches tall and weighs about 14 to 15 lb, so it is rolled rather than carried.
Do both have HEPA filtration?
Both are HEPA certified. The Rotator Pet adds Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology and claims to trap 99.99% of dust and allergens.
Can the EveryMess replace a full upright?
Not for large carpeted areas. Its 6-inch cleaning width and 3-foot hose make it slow for whole rooms. It works best as a supplement for spots, upholstery, and cars.
