Which is better for pet hair on carpets?

The Stratos. Its DuoClean PowerFins HairPro brushrolls are built for carpet and pet hair, and it runs cordless. The EveryMess picks up pet hair too, but its 6 in width and short hose make it slower on whole rooms.

Can the EveryMess replace a regular vacuum?

No. It is a portable 3-in-1 for spots, upholstery and cars, with a 1 gal tank and a 15 ft cord. For full floors you still want a stick or upright like the Stratos.

The Stratos has a five-year warranty and a replaceable battery, but owners report folding-part and overheating failures. The EveryMess is corded with no battery to wear out, though its 39 ratings are a small sample.

Is the Stratos worth $70 more?

If you need a whole-home cordless vacuum, yes. At $199.99 at eBay versus $129.99 at Walmart for the EveryMess as of November 5, 2026, they do different jobs, so the gap buys coverage, not a better version of the same tool.

Which is better for cleaning a car?

The EveryMess. It is corded, handles wet and dry messes, and includes crevice and upholstery tools. The Stratos is dry only and its 51 in height makes car interiors awkward.

Does the Stratos clean spills?

No. It is a dry cordless vacuum. For wet spills and stains you need the EveryMess or another wet/dry cleaner.
