Questions and answers
- Is the Linoto set worth the extra money over the Rough Linen set?
- Only if weight and no-shrink matter to you. Linoto is 230 GSM and claims no shrinkage; Rough Linen is 5.6 oz/sq. yd (about 190 GSM) and costs $99.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, versus $615.00 at Linoto.
- Which is better for a hot sleeper?
- Both are breathable linen. The lighter Rough Linen set drapes closer and clings less, while the heavier Linoto has more body. Either works; pick by weight preference.
- Which fits a deep mattress?
- Linoto offers a 21-inch fitted option, the deepest of the two. Rough Linen's deep fitted sheet is 19 inches, and its standard is 14 inches.
- Does linen shrink?
- Linoto states its sheets will not shrink when washed. Rough Linen does not state a no-shrink guarantee, so expect some settling after the first washes.
- Which has more sizes and colors?
- Rough Linen. It comes in Twin through Cal King and in Terracotta and other colors. Linoto lists Queen, King and Cal King in White.
- Which lasts longer?
- The heavier Linoto linen should hold up longer under repeated washing. Rough Linen is lighter and may wear sooner, but at $99.99 replacing it costs far less.
