SolarEra RGB Solar Step Lights Outdoor Waterproof vs VOLISUN Solar Step Lights Outdoor RGB Color Changing
Both are budget solar step lights with RGB color changing and no meaningful price data to separate them. The SolarEra listing is far more specific: 6 lights per set, IP65, 3000K white plus RGB, and a stated 7-hour run time. The VOLISUN listing gives almost nothing to judge, so the SolarEra is the safer pick unless you find the VOLISUN cheaper per light. Check both prices on Deal.ai before buying, since neither has a confirmed price here.

Questions and answers
- Which is better for lighting a garden path?
- The SolarEra, because it states IP65 and a 7-hour run time. Neither is bright enough to be a security light; treat both as accent lighting.
- Which lasts longer outdoors?
- The SolarEra is the only one with a stated IP65 rating, so it is the safer bet in rain and sprinkler spray. The VOLISUN gives no weather rating.
- Is the SolarEra worth extra money?
- Only if it costs less per light than the VOLISUN. With no confirmed prices here, compare the per-light price on Deal.ai before deciding.
- Do these give white light or only color?
- The SolarEra lists 3000K warm white plus RGB. The VOLISUN is described as RGB color changing, with no white color temperature stated.
- How bright are they?
- The SolarEra listing conflicts, showing both 5 lm and 185 lm. The VOLISUN gives no lumen figure. Expect step-level accent light, not area lighting.
