Which bottle is better for school sports?

The Takeya Sport is better for sports because its 18-ounce capacity holds more water and the silicone bumper protects it from being dropped on hard surfaces.

Can either of these be used for hot cocoa?

No. The Thermos Funtainer is explicitly not for hot liquids, and both bottles are designed with straw-style lids which are safety hazards for hot drinks.

Is the Thermos Funtainer easy for a toddler to open?

Yes, it features a push-button lid designed for small hands to operate easily, and the lid covers the spout to keep it clean.

Which one is more durable for rough handling?

While both are stainless steel, the Takeya Sport is more durable because it includes a silicone bottom bumper to prevent dents and a powder-coated exterior to resist slips.
