Which is better for an Acura TL?

The Acura TL kit. It states 1999-2003 and 2009-2014 TL fitment for the 9005 high beam, while the bundle is listed as universal.

Are these the same kit?

Largely yes. Both are Xentec 9005 6000K slim digital HID setups with 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.5 inch ballasts, and both cost $31.99 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026.

Is either legal on the road?

The TL kit says off-road use only. The bundle doesn't claim DOT compliance. Dropping HID bulbs into a halogen housing usually fails inspection and glare rules.

The bundle states up to 30,000 hours. The TL kit only claims longer life than halogen plus 30% from the digital ballast. Treat both as marketing figures.

Is the extra store availability worth anything?

Only for price tracking. Three stores list the TL kit versus one for the bundle, but both bottom out at the same $31.99.

Both are 6000K, which looks blue-white. 4300K gives more usable light in rain and fog if you can find it.
