Is the RTX 5060 enough for 1440p gaming?

The screen is 1200p, not 1440p. At that resolution the RTX 5060 handles most games at high settings, and DLSS helps in the heaviest titles.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

The 1TB SSD is user-replaceable on most Alienware 15 models. RAM is often soldered on thin gaming laptops, so check before buying if you need 32GB.

Is 300 nits bright enough?

Indoors it is fine. Outdoors or in a sunlit room the screen looks washed out, and the 62.5% sRGB coverage means colors are not accurate for creative work.

How does it compare with an RTX 5070 laptop?

A 5070 model costs more and gives roughly 15 to 25% more frame rate at this resolution. The 5060 version is the better value if you play at 1200p.

The laptop, a power adapter and the usual paperwork. A mouse and headset are not included.

Gaming laptops usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. The current $1,299 at eBay as of November 6, 2026 is already near the low end for this spec.
