Is the Lenovo LOQ 15.6" worth it?

For 1080p gaming on a budget, yes. You get an octa-core CPU, an NVIDIA GPU, 16 GB RAM and a 144 Hz screen at $1,035 at eBay as of November 4, 2026.

How does the LOQ compare to the Legion?

The LOQ is Lenovo's cheaper line. Legions generally have better cooling, brighter screens and sturdier builds, but cost more for similar specs.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

LOQ laptops typically have accessible memory slots and an M.2 slot, so you can add RAM and a second SSD. Check the exact model's service manual before buying parts.

Is 512 GB enough for games?

It is tight. Large titles can take 100 GB or more each, so plan on adding a second SSD or uninstalling games as you go.

Does it have a backlit keyboard and matte screen?

Yes. This configuration has a backlit keyboard and a no-glare 1920 x 1080 panel at 144 Hz.

Gaming laptops usually drop during back-to-school, Black Friday and end-of-year sales. Track the price history before buying.
