Is the HP OmniBook X 16 worth $999?

At $999 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a fair price for a 16-inch OLED touchscreen with 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Comparable OLED laptops often cost more at this memory level.

Does the touchscreen work with a stylus?

It is a touchscreen, but HP does not list an included pen. Check the specific listing for pen support before buying if you need one.

How much RAM and storage does it have?

This configuration has 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive, enough for heavy multitasking and large media files.

What ports does it have?

The listed ports are USB-C. Plan on a USB-C hub or adapter for USB-A devices, wired networks or SD cards.

Is 4.6 lb too heavy to carry daily?

It is on the heavy side for a 16-inch laptop. It suits desk and commute use; frequent air travel favors a lighter 13- or 14-inch model.

Laptop prices drop around back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the recent range.
