About the Alien Pro AP-1500 Professional Party Speaker

The Alien Pro AP-1500 is a large portable party speaker aimed at DJs and event hosts, with Bluetooth, a 1/4-inch instrument input, a mic input and wireless daisy chaining for linking a second unit into stereo. It stands 27 inches tall and weighs about 30 lb, so it is a carry-with-help piece of gear rather than a backpack speaker. Battery life is rated at up to 3 hours, which is short for a full event, so plan on wall power for long sets. Its price has held flat at $149.99 at PC Richard & Son since October 30, 2026, so there is no discount to wait for right now.

Best forDJs and hosts running parties and small eventsSolo performers who need a mic and instrument input in one boxBuyers wanting to link two speakers wirelessly for stereoIndoor or patio use where an outlet is within reach
Pros
  • Mic and 1/4-inch instrument inputs built in, no mixer needed for a simple setup
  • Wireless daisy chaining lets two units run as a stereo pair
  • Bluetooth streaming from phones and laptops
  • Multiple input options beyond Bluetooth
A/C adapter included for unlimited play time on wall power
Cons
  • Battery rated at only up to 3 hours
  • About 30 lb and 27 inches tall, awkward to move alone
  • No Wi-Fi, app control or remote
  • No stated power rating in watts, so loudness is hard to compare on paper

Questions and answers

Is the AP-1500 worth $149.99?
At $149.99 it is cheap for a speaker with a mic input, instrument input and wireless linking. The catch is the 3-hour battery and 30 lb weight, so it suits buyers who will mostly run it on wall power.
How long does the battery last?
Alien Pro rates it at up to 3 hours. That covers a short set or a backyard party, but not an all-day event, so bring the included A/C adapter for longer use.
Can I connect two AP-1500s together?
Yes. It supports wireless daisy chaining, which lets a second unit play as the other half of a stereo pair without a cable between them.
Can I plug in a microphone and a guitar at the same time?
Yes. It has a dedicated mic input and a 1/4-inch instrument input, so a singer can run a vocal mic and a guitar into the same speaker.
How big and heavy is it?
It measures about 16 by 14 by 27 inches and weighs 29.76 lb. That is a two-hand lift for most people, and it will not fit on a small shelf.
Is it cheapest now?
The price has been $149.99 at PC Richard & Son since October 30, 2026, with no lower price recorded in that window. There is no sign of a deeper sale to wait for.
