Is the HexClad Mega Cutlery Bundle worth $899?

It is worth it if you want a full Damascus set with steak knives, a magnetic block, a honing rod and a board in one purchase. If you only need two or three knives, a smaller set costs far less.

How does it compare with HexClad's smaller knife sets?

This bundle adds the 8-piece steak knife set, the double-sided magnetic block, the honing rod and the cutting board. The core cooking knives match HexClad's other Damascus sets.

Do the knives need special care?

Hand wash and dry them promptly; the pakkawood handles and walnut block should not go in a dishwasher. Use the honing rod regularly and avoid chopping frozen food or bone with the 12-degree edges.

An 8-inch chef's knife, 7-inch santoku, 8-inch serrated bread knife, 5-inch utility, 3.5-inch paring and 6-inch boning and fillet knife, plus eight steak knives, a magnetic walnut block, a honing rod and a cutting board.

When is the best time to buy it?

At $899 at HexClad as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent low to wait for. Watch for holiday sales, when knife sets are often discounted.
