Is the Carote 32-piece set worth it?

At $109.98 it works out to roughly $3.40 per piece, which is low for a full kitchen setup. It suits casual cooks; anyone cooking daily on high heat should expect to replace it sooner.

Is today's price a good one?

The set was $81.00 on November 1 and $109.98 on November 2, so the current $109.98 is the high end of its short history. Waiting for a drop back toward $80 is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.

Is it compatible with induction cooktops?

No. The aluminum construction is not magnetic, so these pans are for gas, electric and ceramic glass stovetops, not induction.

What is included in the box?

Frying pans, saucepans, a deep sauté pan, bakeware and knives, 32 pieces in total. Lids and the exact pan sizes vary, so check the piece list before buying.

Can the pans go in the dishwasher?

Hand washing is recommended to protect the nonstick coating. Dishwasher detergent and heat shorten the life of coatings like this.

How does it compare with a smaller Carote set?

The smaller sets cost less and skip the bakeware and knives. This one makes sense if you need everything at once; otherwise a 10- to 12-piece set covers most cooking.
