Questions and answers

Is the Carote 21-piece set worth it?
At $79.98 at Walmart as of October 28, 2026, it is a low-cost way to stock a kitchen with pans, lids, utensils and a steamer in one purchase. Expect ceramic nonstick to need replacing after a year or two of heavy use, so treat it as a starter set rather than a long-term investment.
Does it work on induction cooktops?
Yes. The set is listed as induction compatible, so it works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic stovetops.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, the set is listed as dishwasher safe. Hand washing will still help the ceramic coating and wood-look handles last longer.
What is included in the 21 pieces?
Frying pans, a saucepan, a sauté pan, a stockpot, glass lids, a steamer insert, cooking utensils and pan protectors. The exact split of pans and lids is not spelled out, so check the piece list before buying if a specific pan size matters.
How does it compare with a T-fal or Ninja set at a similar price?
