Is the Jeremias rug round or rectangular?

The listing calls it a round 8-foot rug, but the spec sheet lists a 2'3" by 10-foot rectangle. Confirm the size and shape with the store before you buy.

Is it good for high-traffic rooms?

Not ideal. The deep polyester shag can flatten and mat in walkways, so it suits bedrooms and living rooms better than hallways.

It is stain resistant for spot cleaning, but the maker recommends professional cleaning. A deep shag is hard to vacuum thoroughly.

Some owners report shedding and loose fibers, mostly when the rug is new. Regular gentle vacuuming helps.

Is $179.99 a good price?

It is the only new price found, $179.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, so there is little to compare. Check the size first, since the price may not match the round 8-foot version.

Indoors only, in any room, per the listing. It is not made for outdoor or damp spaces.
