Is the FED Fitness PT7 worth it?

At $113.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable buy if you need a tower that folds away and you train at bodyweight. If you do weighted pull-ups or want zero wobble, spend more on a fixed steel tower.

How much space does it need when folded?

It folds toward the wall, so it takes roughly the depth of the folded frame instead of the full footprint. Leave clearance behind it for the hinge to swing and check your ceiling height against the assembled bar height before buying.

Does the 580 lb capacity include weighted dips?

The 580 lb figure is the frame's rated limit, covering your body weight plus added load. Stay well under it with a weight belt, since folding frames flex more than welded ones.

What exercises can I do on it?

Pull-ups and chin-ups on the top bar, dips and knee or leg raises on the padded armrests and backrest. It is a bodyweight station, not a cable or Smith machine.

The lowest new price seen is $113.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. Foldable towers tend to dip during Black Friday and January fitness sales, so compare both stores before buying.

About the FED Fitness PT7 Foldable Power Tower Pull Up Station

The FED Fitness PT7 is a foldable power tower for home gyms: a pull-up bar, dip station and padded backrest in one steel frame rated to 580 lb. The folding hinge lets it collapse toward a wall between sessions, which matters in small rooms. The best new price is $113.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with two stores listing it new. At that price it sits at the low end of what foldable towers cost, so it is a budget entry rather than a heavy-duty rig.
