Our take on the Primy Foldable Pull Up Bar Station

The Primy Foldable Pull Up Bar Station is a steel power tower rated for 350 lb that folds flat for storage. It is aimed at home lifters who want pull-ups, dips and hanging leg raises without bolting a bar to a wall. The frame is powder-coated alloy steel and it is sold for residential use. The best new price is $89.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Best forHome lifters who need a pull-up bar but have no wall to mount one onRenters who want equipment that folds away between sessionsSmall apartments and garages with limited floor spaceBodyweight training for back, arms and core
Pros
  • Folds down for storage, which most power towers do not
  • 350 lb max load is high for the price class
  • Steel frame with powder-coated finish
  • Supports pull-ups, dips and hanging leg raises from one unit
  • No drilling or wall mounting needed
Cons
  • Folding joints add flex and wobble compared with a fixed welded tower
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin
  • 34 ratings is a small base to judge long-term durability
  • Takes up floor space when open and needs clearance to fold
  • Assembly and a stable floor are required for safe use

Questions and answers

Is the Primy Foldable Pull Up Bar Station worth it?
At $89.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get pull-ups and dips at home without wall mounting. If you train heavy or do kipping pull-ups, a fixed welded tower is the safer choice.
How much weight does it hold?
Primy rates it for a 350 lb max load. That covers most home users, but the folding joints are the weak point, so stay within the limit and check the pins before each session.
Does it fold flat for storage?
Yes. The frame folds to reduce its footprint, which is the main reason to pick it over a standard power tower. It still needs floor clearance to fold and unfold.
Does it need to be mounted to the wall?
No. It is a free-standing station, so no drilling is needed. It relies on its own base for stability, so set it on a level, non-slip floor.
What exercises can you do on it?
Pull-ups, chin-ups, dips and hanging leg raises are the main movements. It targets the back, arms and core rather than serving as a full gym.
When is the best time to buy it?
Only one store lists it new, so discounts are unlikely to come from store competition. Watch for Walmart rollbacks around Black Friday and January fitness sales.
Where is the Primy Foldable Pull Up Bar Station cheapest?
At Walmart, for $89.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Primy Foldable Pull Up Bar Station?
Rated 4.2 out of 5 from 34 ratings.
