Is the SUGIFT GX550 worth $391.99?

At $391.99 at Lowe's as of November 6, 2026, you pay for 4WD, four 100W motors and a 110 lb seat. If you need traction and a high weight limit, it is reasonable; if you just want a basic 12V car, it costs much more.

The listed speed band is 2.5 to 3.7 mph. That is quick enough to feel like driving but slow enough for a parent to keep up on foot.

Can parents control it?

Yes. A remote is included in the box, so an adult can steer and stop it while a younger child rides.

The listing says ages 3 and up. The 110 lb seat rating means older siblings can ride too, but the 3.7 mph top speed suits younger kids best.

What comes in the box?

The car, one remote and a user guide. The 24V 7Ah battery is part of the car.

How long does the battery last?

The listing does not give a runtime. Expect roughly an hour of mixed riding from a 24V 7Ah pack, and a full charge takes several hours.
