Is this set worth it?

At $29.99 for eight cars, it is about $3.75 per car, in line with mainline Hot Wheels pricing. It is worth it if you enjoy the surprise; skip it if you need specific models.

Can I choose which cars I get?

No. The assortment is random, so the eight cars vary by pack. You may get duplicates or castings you already own.

What age is this for?

Hot Wheels lists it for ages 3 and up. The cars are small die-cast models with small parts, so keep them away from children under 3.

Yes, the bodies are die-cast metal at 1:64 scale, the same size as standard Hot Wheels cars.

How does this compare with buying single Hot Wheels?

Singles let you pick exact models, usually around $1 to $2 each at retail. This set costs more per car but adds the chance at rare castings and the surprise.

Multipacks like this usually drop during holiday sales and back-to-school events. The current best new price is $29.99 at ShopSimon as of November 3, 2026, across 3 stores.
