About the Osprey Transporter Roll Top Waterproof Backpack

The Osprey Transporter Roll Top is an 18-liter waterproof daypack built from coated nylon, closed with a roll top and buckle instead of a zipper. Questions and answers

Is the Osprey Transporter Roll Top actually waterproof?
Yes. The coated nylon body and roll-top buckle closure are designed to keep rain out. Submersion is not recommended, but it handles downpours and splashes well.
Is 18 liters enough for a laptop and commute gear?
For a 13- to 15-inch laptop, a charger and a light layer, yes. It gets tight with gym shoes or a full change of clothes.
How does it compare with the Osprey Daylite?
The Daylite is lighter and has more pockets but is not waterproof. The Transporter Roll Top trades organization for weather protection.
    Is $94.98 a good price?
It is a solid discount versus typical retail for this model. Five stores list it new, so compare before buying, but this is near the low end.
    What colors are available?
Night Jungle Blue, Black, Poinsettia Red and Lemongrass Yellow.
Does it have a laptop sleeve?
It has an internal sleeve that fits most 13- to 15-inch laptops, though padding is minimal.
